In the first session, we will explore some of the most common types of mental health problems affecting young people today. We will also learn how to spot the signs and symptoms, and what to do/where to go if you suspect one of your students is struggling with one.

Dan Licence is a mental health adviser at Osborne Cawkwell. He runs training workshops for tutors, teachers and parents, writes regular blogs, and interviews people from the industry in an effort to help raise awareness of mental health problems.

He is also a qualified mindfulness teacher through the Mindfulness in Schools Project, and a facilitator at Ruby Wax’s Frazzled café, which is a mental health support group that incorporates mindfulness into its sessions.
